American Standard?

I have an American Standard wide spread faucet in my bathroom. It has cross handles on it. How do I remove those handles? I am stumped. On one of them the cross part that you turn to turn the water on and off broke off. I cant figure out how the rest of it comes off to replace it. If you can help that would be great.


There should be a small cap in the center on the top & a screw under it. It looks like a tiny hub cap. Use a screw driver to remove it.
